About me

I am a homeschool mom who believes homeschooling is best done in community. We, as parents, have our own gifts to share with our children, and we each have different gifts that can benefit the community as a whole in raising the next generation.

I graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I served in the US Army, followed by a career in the dot-com industry, and after that medical science sales for 8 years. I have an entrepreneurial mind and have started several companies and enjoy finding creative ways to earn an income. I became a “mommy blogger” and found solace in writing during the struggles of motherhood. This developed a passion in me for expressive writing and finding your voice. When you find your voice, it's important to use it in local advocacy, standing up for important issues and our rights, endowed by our Creator, with liberty and justice for all. I teach from my knowledge, experiences, and passion. Let's do this together!
